| You will see that
the films are classified relative to the light transmission characteristics.
The darker the tint the lower the % of light passing through (the lower
the film reference number). It is not possible to apply tint to front windscreens
however a sun strip can be applied if desired.
Although vision from inside to out, of even the darkest films,
is good in daylight this is greatly reduced in bad light and at night.
For that reason the Glass and Glazing Federation recommend that film with
a light transmission of less than 30% should not be applied to front door
glass.
Samples of glass tinted to the above levels are on show at
our Glasgow showroom.
Red Blue and Green films can also be supplied if required.
Our window films are scratch resistant, coated for long lasting durability
and require no special cleaning techniques.
